As I discussed previously, Club Carlson is one of my favourite hotel programs right now, primarily because they are VERY generous with points, and it is not unheard of to stay one night and get one night free. That, and Radisson, besides being a pretty decent brand (if a bit kitschy sometimes, like the Mississauga one), tends to respect status – I have been upgraded every time. And their prime properties in England (The Mayfair, the Plaza on the River), San Francisco (Radisson Fisherman’s Wharf) and so on are fairly nice properties.
