So since we had 6 hours in Bologna, I decided to rent a car and go around and see things. The original plan was to visit Maranello and the Ferrari museum… but after some consideration, that seemed like a bad use of time. So we went to Bologna proper instead – which turned out to be just minutes from the airport.
First, we rented a massive 7-seater Ford Galaxy, which had all its instrument clusters set to Russian, for some reason. Since we only had the car for a few hours, I didn’t care, but I found it to be quite amusing.
Bologna turned out to be a wild and colourful city with much to see and not enough time, so here are some pictures of it.
We started off at a random market which seemed to sell knockoff goods for a euro or two apiece:
