To take a brief break from the round-the-world trip report: the convoluted Amazing Race promotion starts today. It seems extremely complicated to earn anything with it, but as any promotion where you MIGHT fly Air Canada or other airlines (assumably, since the terms will only be published today) it’s worth registering.
It looks like there’ll be many ways to earn points, but unlike the shopping promos where you can pump $3 of gas a hundred times and earn 15,000 miles, this one is heavily geared towards frequent flyers – I guess that’s fair enough.
The maximum bonus you can earn is 200,000 miles, but that would require a LOT of flying. Worth trying to pick up a few points, at least.
