I wrote before about how Hertz and Aeroplan have messed up my 5,000 mile bonus for car rental. It appears the story does not end there. I called Hertz about another rental which went to the useless Hertz Gold Reward points (instead of Aeroplan), and they told me they will take the points away and send them to Aeroplan instead. Great, right? So I got an email from Hertz, in which they said they transferred 005000 miles to my Aeroplan account…… and imagine my surprise when I logged into my Aeroplan account and saw that only 3,750 got added. Looks like I have to get on the phone with them again…
